Delivery Areas
My Favourite Baker delivers to most suburbs within the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads.
You can check if you're in our delivery zone by entering your postcode in the banner on our website.
Please note, however, that some suburbs are excluded even if the postcode falls within the zone—see the excluded suburbs listed below.
If you're unsure, feel free to contact us directly to confirm.

These fees are in addition to your product cost and are automatically applied at checkout.
Delivery Times

Weekdays: Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM

Weekends: Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM
We follow fixed delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries. Unfortunately, specific delivery times or prioritisation requests are not possible.
No refunds will be made if your order is delivered outside of these delivery times as they are simply a guide.
Holiday Delivery Hours
For major dates like Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Eid Day, Christmas Eve..

Deliveries will occur between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM

If the event falls on a weekday: Deliveries will be made between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Tracking and Driver Communication
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a text message (Australian mobile number only) with a tracking link. The tracking link is also sent to the provided email address.
Delivery Delays
Occasional delays due to traffic or roadworks may occur. While we cannot take responsibility for these events, we assure you we’ll do our best to deliver your order on time and in perfect condition.
Delivery Address Requirements
A valid physical address must be provided.
Playgrounds, car parks, or general meeting points will not be accepted.

If the address is incorrect or incomplete, our team will attempt to contact you. If we do not hear back in time, your order will be converted to click & collect from our Cake Factory at:
4/1 Inventory Court, Arundel
No cancellations or refunds will be accepted in this case.
Failed Delivery Attempts

If no one is home, your driver will call you. You may then advise where to leave the item (e.g., at the door or with a neighbour).

If the address is incorrect, the order will be returned to our Cake Factory. A new delivery fee will apply for redelivery the next day (if applicable)

If there’s no response after two call attempts, or the phone number is invalid, the cake will be returned and a redelivery fee will apply.

If the second delivery is also unsuccessful, you will need to pay the cost to remake the product, plus the redelivery fee.

If an order is placed for delivery to any of the suburbs listed above, our team will contact you via email to offer an alternative option—either to update the delivery address or to change the order to click and collect from our Cake Factory.
NSW Time Difference (Daylight Saving)
Between October and April, New South Wales is 1 hour ahead of Queensland.
Our delivery system does not automatically adjust for this time difference. It is the customer’s responsibility to account for this when scheduling delivery.
My Favourite Baker is not responsible for early or late deliveries caused by this time difference. We appreciate your understanding.
Delivery Policy for Properties with Dogs
To ensure the safety of our delivery team, we have introduced a new policy regarding deliveries to properties with dogs.
- Our drivers will not enter any property where a dog is present, even if the dog is inside.
- If a dog is on the property, the order will be left at the front gate or door, the recipient must come outside to collect their order.
- If no one is home and you request the order to be left unattended, we will need to confirm if there are any dogs on the property.
- If YES → The order will not be delivered and must be rescheduled or collected.
- If NO → The order can be left as instructed.
This policy is in place to protect our drivers while ensuring your order still arrives safely. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Extreme Weather Delivery Policy
At My Favourite Baker, the safety of our delivery drivers is our top priority. In the event of extreme weather conditions—including but not limited to severe rain, strong winds, or cyclonic activity—we reserve the right to postpone all deliveries to ensure the well-being of our team and the safe transport of your orders.
Should extreme weather impact our ability to deliver on your scheduled date, we will reschedule your delivery to either the day before or the day after the event, depending on weather conditions and availability. Affected customers will be notified as soon as possible.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritise safety while ensuring your order arrives in perfect condition.

Perishable Items: The mailrooms at Bond University and Griffith University do not accept perishable items.

Recipient Availability: It is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that they or an authorised person is available to accept deliveries.

Contact Information: An Australian phone number for the recipient must be provided to receive tracking information. This is mandatory to facilitate the delivery process and ensure successful receipt of items.

Accurate Details: All delivery details provided must be accurate and complete. Failure to provide correct and sufficient information may result in unsuccessful delivery attempts. My Favourite Baker will not be responsible for deliveries that cannot be completed due to incorrect or insufficient details.
By adhering to this policy, we aim to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process for all items received at Bond University and Griffith University.
Click and Collect Policy:
This policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for the Click and Collect service provided by My Favourite Baker. Click and Collect allows customers to place orders online and collect their purchases in person at 4/1 Inventory court, Arundel, QLD during specific hours.
- Click and Collect Availability
2.1 Days and Hours
2.1.1 Monday to Friday: Click and Collect service is available from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
2.1.2 Weekends: Click and Collect service is available from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
2.2 Exceptions
My Favourite Baker reserves the right to modify or suspend the Click and Collect service hours on specific dates or due to exceptional circumstances such as holidays, unforeseen events, or any other operational considerations. Any changes to the service availability will be communicated to customers in advance through appropriate channels.
- Placing Orders
3.1 Order Placement
Customers can place orders for Click and Collect through the My Favourite Baker website by selecting Click and Collect before the checkout page.
3.2 Order Confirmation
Upon successful order placement, customers will receive an order confirmation via email.
- Collection Process:
4.1 Identification and Verification
Customers must provide a valid proof of purchase or order confirmation, either in print or digital format, along with a valid photo identification document matching the order details. This step ensures the correct distribution of orders and prevents unauthorised pickups.
4.2 Authorised Proxy
Customers who are unable to collect their orders personally may authorise a third party to pick up the order on their behalf. The authorised proxy must provide the order confirmation, a photocopy or digital copy of the customer's identification document, and their own photo identification document.
- Client Responsibility and Pick-up Time
My Favourite Baker will not be held responsible if the client fails to show up during the designated pick-up time. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they arrive within the specified time frame. Click and Collect service is available only during the opening hours of My Favourite Baker.
- Click and Collect Order Disposal Policy
At My Favourite Baker, we prioritise freshness and efficiency in our Click and Collect service.

Confirmation and Collection Date: Orders must be picked up on the selected time and day. Reminder is sent on the day via email, please ensure you check your junk folder.

Grace Period: If not picked up on the selected time and day, orders have until the end of the following day for collection.

Disposal: After this grace period, uncollected orders are considered abandoned and may be disposed of.

Refunds: No refunds for uncollected orders.
We encourage you to plan accordingly to avoid any inconvenience or additional charges.
