Order FAQ

How to place my order on your website?

All orders and payments are processed via our website.

We have made it very simple for you to place your order online.

First select your favourite cake /cupcakes, size, extras.

Then select the delivery/pick up date and proceed to payment. 

Do you take large corporate order?

Yes most definitely, simply click on Corporate Orders and fill the corporate order form, a member of our team will get back to you asap.

Do you offer same day delivery?

Yes we do!

We offer same day delivery if you order before 11am on weekdays and we will deliver your cake between 12pm and your 4pm.

For Saturday and Sunday we offer next day delivery if you order by 6pm and we will deliver your cake between 9am and 12pm.

I have made a mistake on my order, can I make changes?

Please email us at info@myfavouritebaker.com.au with the changes and your order number.

All changes need to be confirmed by us, therefore simply “letting us know” by email without confirmation from us will not suffice.

24 hours notice is required from your designated delivery/ pick up time.

How to cancel or get a refund on my order?

Customers can cancel their orders and receive a store credit, if they provide My Favourite Baker with at least 48 hours' notice via email info@myfavouritebaker.com.au before the scheduled delivery or pick up date.

What payment methods are available?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Paypal & Afterpay.

Will you include a receipt or any billing information with the order ?

We do not include any prices, receipts or billing information, 

Order confirmation will be emailed to you after your purchase.

How to add the discount code?

Discount code can be added on the checkout page.

Please note: Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons.

Delivery FAQ

Where do you deliver to?

My Favourite Baker delivers to most of the Gold Coast. If your suburb is not included in our system, please contact us via our live chat and one of our team member will be happy to assist with our click & collect option.

Please note that we do NOT deliver to the following suburbs: Logan Village, Lower Beechmont, Clagiraba, Belivah, Wongawallan, Cedar Creek, Yarrabilba, Woongoolba, Springbrook, advancetown, Tallebudgera Valley, Austinville, Piggabeen, Numinbah Valley, Mount Nathan & Bilambil. All orders placed using the postcodes listed above will be automatically refunded.

What are your delivery times?

My Favourite Baker provides delivery services seven days a week, including some public holidays.

On weekdays (Monday to Friday), deliveries are made between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, while on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), deliveries occur from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Although delays may occasionally happen due to heavy traffic or road incidents, we strive to ensure that deliveries are made as close to the specified time frame as possible.

Please note: You will receive a text message with a tracking link once your order is on route. 

Can I click & Collect?

We offer click & collect as an alternative option if your suburb is outside our delivery area or if it is more convenient for you to pick up your order.

What time can I click & collect?

Click & collect is available 7 days a week from our HQ Kitchen in Arundel.

Weekdays: 

Between 12pm and 4pm

Weekends: 

Between 9am and 12pm

Click and collect service will only be available during the specified pick-up times mentioned above.

I need my order to be delivered at a specific time.

Unfortunately, we are not able to give you an exact time for your delivery, as our delivery drivers must follow a specific route in order to deliver all orders by the time listed above.

You will be given an ETA via text message once your order is on the way. You will be able to live track your order by clicking the link provided in the text message.

What is the cost of delivery?

Enjoy a flat rate of $10 for most locations across the Gold Coast. For a few select suburbs, a fee of $18 applies. We take pride in providing a seamless experience through our exclusive delivery app, complete with real-time tracking links. Rest assured, your order will be in the capable hands of our own dedicated delivery drivers, ensuring a reliable and efficient service with no involvement of third-party delivery companies

What if nobody is home to accept the delivery?

If someone is not there to accept the product, you will receive a phone call from your delivery driver,  you will be able to direct your driver to leave your cake wherever you would like on your premises or with a neighbour.

Please note that if you are delivering a restaurant, hotel or hospital, it is your responsibility to ensure someone will be there to accept the delivery.

Do you deliver to hotels, restaurants, businesses, hospitals or schools?

We do offer delivery to all of the above. Please make sure someone will be accepting your order during our delivery time. 

Also make sure you provide us with a booking name, a recipient number and room number if applicable.

How can I track my order?

A text message with a tracking link will be sent to the phone number provided on your order as soon as your delivery driver picks up your order and begins his dispatch route.

You will be able to live track your order and communicate with your delivery driver at all times via our chat.

Where can I leave any delivery instructions?

You are able to add delivery instructions in the note section on our checkout page.

Also, you will be able to communicate with your delivery driver on the day via text. A tracking link will be sent to the phone number provided on your order.

Cake FAQ

Do you offer customise cake or can we alter the flavours/decorations listed on your website?

We are unable to make any changes or customisations to the
product range that is listed on our website.

Please feel free to contact us via email at info@myfavouritebaker.com.au regarding special dietary.

Kindly complete the Corporate Order Form for large cakes or cupcakes order, providing all necessary details for a seamless processing of your order.

Do you have Gluten Free options?

We offer a variety of gluten-free options to cater to your dietary preferences. Simply explore our selection under the 'Gluten-Free' category by clicking on the dropdown menu.

Please ensure to select the "Yes" option for gluten-free when choosing the desired product.

Do your products contain nuts?

Most of our cakes contain nuts or traces of nuts. If you’re ordering
for someone with allergies, we recommend reading the full product
description for ingredients and whether the product contains nuts or
simply traces of nuts, please email us at
info@myfavouritebaker.com.au and let us know about your
allergies.

What size cake do you have available?

We are delighted to present our assortment of cakes, available in three sizes, each with its unique diameter and serving capacity. The height of our cakes ranges between 4 and 5 inches, depending on the top decorations.

Please note that the sizes listed in the dropdown bar of each specific product indicate the available options.

  1. Gift Size: With a 4-inch diameter (10 cm), this cake serves approximately 4 individuals, making it a perfect choice for intimate gatherings or as a thoughtful gift.
  2. Classic Size: Our classic cake boasts a 6-inch diameter (15 cm), providing generous portions that can satisfy up to 12 guests. This size is ideal for small celebrations or gatherings with close friends and family.
  3. Large Size: Our large cake, measuring 8 inches in diameter (20 cm). This cake can serve up to 24 individuals, making it the perfect choice for larger parties, corporate events, or special occasions where more guests are in attendance.

How do I store my cake?

We do not recommend storing your cake or cupcakes in the fridge, 
Our cake are best consumed when stored in a cool, dry place. If
you refrigerate your cake and consume your cake right away, this
will cause the cake to harden and dry out.
Whilst our cakes are best consumed on the same day of delivery, if
you wish to consume your cake the day following delivery, please
refrigerate your cake overnight in our packaging and let it sit in a
cool, dry place 5-6 hours prior to consumption.

Are your cakes Halal or contain Alcohol/Animal Fat?

All our cakes DO NOT contain alcohol or animal fat within the cake,
frosting and decorations.
